Professional Ropes Course Association

Pro Image Adventures had been one of only a few accredited

vendor members of the Professional Ropes Course Association [PRCA] (since 2009). Although not currently a vendor member as of this update in 2026, both Tom and Gus, (Pro Image Adventures’ principals), have actively been involved with PRCA - involved in leadership and conferences.

Pro Image Adventures [PIA] continues to enthusiastically encourage anyone with interest to become an active participant in the annual conference.

PRCA’s conference is still one of if not the best way to network. Participate in PRCA - experience any of several trainings and exciting workshops.

Also, become more aware of issues in the field.

You can contribute by presenting or simply enjoying some quality fun and professional time with colleagues you already know or haven’t met yet -

The O.A.S.I.S. is not a set number nor an exact dimensioned structure; rather, a conceptual formula of rustic logs + ropes + natural landscape (usually trees) + heavy duty over built hardware (SAFETY STILL FIRST!) + creating perceived (NOT REAL) danger + creating interdisciplinary learning principle guided discoveries….+ oh yeah; how to be a kid!

(FUN, rascally mischievous, joyful, spontaneity, risk taking, confidence building, helping self and others, etc.)

What helps us as designer/ builders is to be lovers and stewards of nature, and to still being kids at heart.

The ability to see people of all kinds and abilities at their best selves; this tempered by life experience, professional liability, insurance, and a healthy dose of humility, along with pride and confidence.

This creates a literal explosion of sensory ecstasy that appeals to the kid that lives in all of us - thus, the nearly universal appeal.

The lure of climbing on and hanging from the mix of mostly natural and some pseudo-natural materials is almost impossible to ignore.

To provide maximum range of safe adventure-challenges, we select and ONLY utilize overbuilt and engineered hardware to attach logs and hand ropes, weaving a Pied Piper multitude of rustic routes for the adventurer to explore…."
